I think it's necessary to engage with the youth community and provide support on the current journey. Once a foundation is established, we can lead them toward excellence, and uncover lessons on self-discovery, personal growth, and the development of their values. This approach is embedded in prioritizing the youth community's personal and social development. Essential steps involve gaining insight into their environment and obtaining trust with the youth community.

Key Vocabulary Words:

 

"Purposefully" - an action is done with a clear intent. When someone does something purposefully with a specific purpose or goal in mind. 

 

" Enable" - to make something possible or to provide the means or ability for a particular action. 

 

"Undertake" - to take on or commit to a task, project, or responsibility.

I resonated deeply with this video as it resonates with my strong belief in the deep impact that working within the youth community can have. In our roles as mentors, teachers, and protectors, we are not purely fulfilling duties; we are actively shaping the futures of these young individuals. We hold the power to inspire, mold characters, and provide a safe shelter for those navigating the complexities of adolescence. Our roles extend beyond professional titles, they represent a commitment to making a meaningful and lasting difference in the lives of the youth we serve.
